Description

Essve Expander Golden Anchor stainless steel acid-resistant A4 is of quality min. A4-70 and has stainless steel clips. It is a so-called stud screw expander that in its lower part, which is the anchoring part, has a clip that expands up onto the tapered part of the screw when tightened. The upper part is provided with an external thread with a flange nut. To avoid damage to the screw threads when driving in, the upper part has a knock-in neck.

When the drill diameter is equal to the bolt diameter, pressure occurs between the hole wall and the clip as soon as the expander is driven into the drill hole. When the flange nut is then tightened, the bolt is forced outwards, forcing the clip to expand up onto the tapered part. Essve Expander Golden Anchor is also available as bright galvanized and hot-dip galvanized.

Essve Expander Golden Anchor is intended for fastening in concrete and natural stone, outdoors in extreme environments. It is ideal for applications with high load requirements, such as fastening wooden/steel studs, fittings, z-iron and wrought iron structures.

When installing, place the part in place. Drill holes with the same drill diameter as the screw, see min. drilling depth in Load Table. No blasting is required, only rough cleaning with the drill. Drive in the expander screw to the correct installation depth, see min. installation depth. Tighten the nut to the prescribed tightening torque.
